Who we are:

Established in 1953, Spanish National Honor Society is a nationally recognized, merit-based society  for students who are in pursuit of learning Spanish and Portuguese. In 1959 the name was changed to Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica and currently there are more than 2,900 national and international chapters.

At Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, SNSH members are required to hold high academic standards in their Spanish courses, so we are proudly represented by students who share a love for learning the language as well as a deep interest in upholding and preserving the cultural diversity of Spanish-speaking nations.

In our campus we strongly believe in the motto “Together we are Stronger,” and we pride ourselves in the cultural diversity that our student body represents. These words also speak to what our club represents and what we continuously strive for.

Each year, our members are required to participate in a number of fun-filled activities that promote our cultural heritage. And while having fun is at the core of our mission, we also take part in community-driven events that help instill a sense of servitude amongst our members. As an added bonus, we also have field trips that help guide students in their endeavors as they prepare to attend college.

We welcome and encourage those who qualify to come join us in our yearly adventures!

!Bienvenidos!
